Service Engineer (Mechanical Bias)
Salary: £40,000 to £45,000 per annum – DOE
Location: Coventry (Travelling across the UK from Site)
Hours: 8am to 4:30pm – Monday to Friday

My client is looking for an experienced mechanical bias Service engineer that has past experience working with bearings, motors, finishing machines, and blasting machines.

· New Year's Day (1st January)
· Good Friday & Easter Monday
· May Day, Spring & August Bank Holidays
· Christmas Shutdown
(Pro-rata for part-year employment)

Key Responsibilities:
· Monitor equipment and develop preventative maintenance measures.
· Deliver training and demonstrations on safe and effective equipment use.
· Manage inventory and reorder materials as required.
· Lead machine installation, commissioning, and training sessions.
· Support the manufacturing team with assembly and testing, including fitting and using hand tools.
· Act as the main point of contact for troubleshooting and maintenance support.
· Provide both remote and on-site technical support and diagnostics.
· Travel within the UK, EU, and internationally when required for installations and service.


You will need the following experience & skills:
· Time served Mechanical Maintenance or Level 3 NVQ in Mechanical Maintenance
· Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
· Excellent communication and customer service skills
· Willingness to travel when necessary
· Experience working with Hydraulics & Pneumatics.
