Job Opportunity: Band 6 CAMHS Nurse (Temporary Contract)Location: Coventry (NHS)Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PMPay Rate: £27.00 per hour (Ltd, paid via an umbrella company) Service Care Solutions is recruiting a Band 6 CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) Nurse to join our team on a temporary contract in Coventry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment & Planning: Assess the mental health needs of children and young people referred to CAMHS and develop tailored care plans.
  • Collaboration: Work with families, CAMHS professionals, and other agencies to ensure holistic care and access to suitable services.
  • Safeguarding: Promote the well-being of patients in accordance with National Occupational Standards.
  • Care Management: Handle your own caseload, including conducting home visits and attending case conferences or reviews as needed.
  • Multi-Agency Work: Advise on and coordinate services for children, especially those transitioning to adult mental health services.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuing professional development, using evidence-based practices and research to inform care.
  • Specialist Knowledge: Develop and apply expertise in working with children and families to assess, monitor, and meet complex health needs effectively.
What We're Looking For:
  • A qualified Band 6 CAMHS Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Strong understanding of mental health needs in children and families.
  • Ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams and external agencies.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
