12 M Fixed Term Contract working as HR Business Partner, supporting a school site in Coventry.  You will be reporting into the Director of People and partnering with the Head Teacher and the SLT.  Your goal is to successfully translate the global group strategy into the local school setting. As HR Business Partner you will be:
  • Providing first line HR Advice and support to all managers and department heads on all things employee relations, policies and procedures
  • Partnering with the payroll and pension provider to ensure payroll is process on time, and in full every month and any queries are expedited and responded to quickly and completely
  • Managing the HR administrator and ensuring they maintain accurate records on the HR IS system.
  • Leading the recruitment and onboarding process to ensure a first-class candidate experience and smooth new start for all employees.
  • Produce monthly KPI reports for SLT meetings and respond to ad hoc requests for data and insight.
  • Advising on occupational health referrals, absence management issues and return to work cases to Line Managers.
  • To contribute to the review and development of HR policies and procedures in accordance with the Policy Development Framework and within the legal framework of employment legislation.
You will ideally have previously worked in an education setting but if not be aware of and understand the additional compliance, governance and data requirements of working in this challenging, but highly rewarding sector.  You will be used to working with a range of stakeholders, across more than one site ideally and demonstrate a clear ability to add value and build efficiencies in process, procedure and policy.  You will join at a time of investment and transformation, and as part of the expert HR Team.  Benefits include:
