We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Payroll Assistant to join a well-established company in Coventry on a 3-month temporary contract, with the opportunity for future permanency. Key Responsibilities:- Assist with processing end-to-end payroll for employees.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure all payroll data is up-to-date.
- Ensure compliance with tax, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
- Respond to payroll-related queries from employees and management.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate data flow.
- Support the preparation of reports and reconciliation of payroll data.
- Assist in the management of employee benefits and deductions.
- Previous experience in a payroll or finance-related role is essential.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
