What You Will Do:

  • Develop, implement, and manage import/export compliance policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to ITAR, EAR, and UK export controls.
  • Provide essential training on import and export controls, including ITAR, to key personnel.
  • Prepare, process, and expedite licensing applications while maintaining accurate records.
  • Manage agreements related to import and export, ensuring they are up to date and compliant.
  • Support the Business Development, R&D, and Commercial teams with export compliance guidance.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure trade compliance and achieve business objectives efficiently.

What You Will Bring:

  • Significant experience in the defence industry, particularly in export compliance roles.
  • Proficient knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and UK export controls, with experience in SPIRE, CHIEF, and LITE systems.
  • Strong commercial awareness, numeracy, and computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office products.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Eligibility for SC (Secret Level) UK Security Clearance.
