Are you a dynamic and motivated Process Engineer looking to make an impact? We are seeking an experienced professional to join our world class client. This is a key role where you will lead, inspire, and drive continuous improvement across the department, working closely with teams to ensure operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead initiatives to reduce workplace hazards and create a safer working environment.
- Design and implement new systems, equipment, and processes to introduce new products or improve existing ones.
- Champion Continuous Improvement projects, reducing waste, improving efficiency, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Utilize problem-solving techniques such as A3 and Root Cause Analysis to swiftly tackle inefficiencies.
- Manage engineering changes, ensuring costs are estimated, documented, and controlled.
- Oversee training, documentation, and quality controls to support all manufacturing processes.
- Project manage new machinery installations, ensuring proper training, documentation, and compliance with regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with current environmental legislation and ensure alignment with future trends.
- Communicate vital engineering updates across the business clearly and effectively.
- Create, improve, and review Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring processes are optimized.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience in a similar process engineering role.
- Strong technical skills and familiarity with process engineering software.
- Experience with ISO9001 and ISO14001 standards.
- Formal Lean training with a proven track record in Continuous Improvement.
- Ability to understand and create technical drawings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and lead change.
Desirable:
- IOSH/NEBOSH certification.
- Experience with PLC programming.
