We are looking for a Process & Quality Technician who has a strong chemistry knowledge for permanent job within a busy manufacturing client in Coventry.
This is a role where you support both the production and quality department to ensure products are processes are right regarding the manufacturing of glass reinforced polymers.
This will involve checking the calibration of machines, looking at the chemical composition of the product (and adjusting if needed). looking at the amount of waste being produced carrying out quality audits and checking end products comply with the specification.
It's a mixture of quality and checking how robust a manufacturing process is (50 / 50).
This is a Monday - Friday role working a nice, fixed day shift.
To be considered: you MUST have the following:
- Strong know of GRP sheet manufacturing or a formal qualification within chemistry.
- Fully numerate and literate.
- Good maths and confident in calculating volumes of solids, weights, concentrations etc.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work along and set your own schedule.
