Quality Inspector duties include -
- Use hand held measurement tools and CMM to inspect precision components.
- Liaise with the Quality and Design teams when rejected parts are found.
- Document and report non-conforming materials as required.
- Ensure that any discrepancies are isolated, and the necessary actions are implemented.
- Assist with other Goods Inwards area as and when required.
- Ensure that all measuring equipment is correctly calibrated.
Quality Inspector desirable skills and experience -
- Experience in a similar position (CMM Operator, CMM Programmer etc).
- Computer literate / able to read technical drawings.
- Relevant manufacturing/mechanical engineering education (HND/HNC).
