An experienced Quality Engineer is sought to join a client in the Automotive sector, specifically supporting Commercial and Military markets.
Candidates should possess strong knowledge of Quality core tools, including APQP and PPAP, and have the ability to produce high-standard documentation.
The role requires managing customer portals, ensuring timely submissions, and maintaining control plans throughout project phases.
The position offers a permanent contract with a salary dependent on experience, and the work schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Friday from 7:30 am to 12:30 pm.
Candidates should have relevant experience and certifications, such as a Six Sigma Green Belt, and familiarity with ISO9001/IATF16949 standards.

Prepare and submit accurate PPAP documentation, maintaining the PPAP tracker to meet deadlines.
Manage customer portals, ensure timely PPAP submissions, and liaise with Inspection on project requirements.
Create, update, and maintain control plans and process flows throughout project phases and changes.
Support KPIs, assist SQA with supplier data for PPAPs, and handle Quality-related customer communications.
Promote a "Quality culture" and uphold standards within the production facility.

Quality Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
Skilled in interpreting engineering drawings and specifications.
Experienced with ISO9001/IATF16949 standards and AIAG PPAP requirements.
Proficient in 8D problem-solving, control plans, and product/process audits.
Familiarity with CMM, Hex Arm, and Vici-vision is a plus.
