I am working alongside a subcontractor who are looking to onboard a project manager to help deliver a new civils scheme being delivered in the West Midlands. My client operate heavily across both the construction and civils market. The scope of works being delivered will include groundwork, deep drainage, FRC work and civils.
Project manager responsibilities:
- Liaising with the main contractor and client.
- Producing 6-8 week look ahead programs.
- Managing and implementing health and safety procedures.
- Programming.
- Writing RAMS.
- Work closely with the commercial team & quantity surveyors to ensure budgets are met.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures, ensuring project deliverables meet required standards.
- Identify and mitigate project risks to avoid delays, cost overruns, or quality issues.
Project manager requirements:
- Right to work in the UK.
- NVQ level 6.
- Black CSCS.
- SMSTS.
- First aid.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of reinforced concrete, FRC works, groundwork and deep drainage.
- 5-10 years experience in project managers role.
- IT literate - Word, Excel etc.
- Full UK driving licence.
