Job Title: Senior Specialist - Colleague communications - 12-month FTC Base Location: Head Office Coventry.Work Pattern: A hybrid approach to suit you, ideally 2/3 days a week in the office. Days worked is flexible and completely dependent on your work scheduled in each week.This is a fantastic opportunity for an Internal Communications professional to join a top Building Society on a 12-month FTC, during an exciting period of change. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Internal communications where you will gain the opportunity to support internal communication and engagement during a major acquisition.   • Developing, managing and measuring a range of communications for different audiences across the Group.
  • Business Partnering across a range of different programme workstreams, focusing on their communications and engagement needs, as well as playing a key role in central communications and engagement.
  • Using the programme communications strategy to influence and shape choice about how we communicate with and engage stakeholders.
  • Coaching, supporting and advising on best practice to enable and empower others to manage delivery, you'll also have the chance to get stuck into some delivery as appropriate, too.

What will you need to do it?

  • A clear background and understanding of Internal communication concepts and methods.
  • Experience with Business partnering, and the ability to show tangible ownership over your dedicated areas.
  • Exposure to change communications management and delivery.

Skills we'd love to see:

  • If you have experience supporting Internal communications during an Acquisition or major Change programme, this would be a real bonus.
