Then this is the position for you! We are currently recruiting for an established Manufacturing organisation that is looking to bring in a Senior Buyer into their team due to an internal promotion. This role covers a range of responsibilities and will allow the successful person to really get involved in complex contract negotiations from a high level.

So what would your responsibilities be?

Developing and implementing regional strategies
Build relationships with key suppliers
Evaluate and select new suppliers
Audit suppliers
Sourcing raw materials
Manage Tenders & RFQ process
Full contract negotiation including pricing, rebate & SLA
Resolve supplier or product issues

But what experience do you need?

Over 3 years experience within Manufacturing Direct Buying.
Experience buying plastics is highly desirable
CIPS Qualification is highly desirable but training support is given if you want to become qualified
You must have full contract negotiation experience including pricing, rebate & SLA
