Role: Managing Quantity Surveyor
Company: Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor
Location: Coventry, West Midlands
Salary: £75,000 - £85,000 + Package
Project: Large Scale Commercial Scheme - Earthworks / Heavy Civils
Randstad are currently working with a well established Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor based in the West Midlands, that are looking to grow their commercial team.

Responsibilities:
- Leading and managing the commercial aspects of the project, ensuring cost control and budget adherence
- Overseeing all commercial functions, including cost reporting, contract administration, and risk management
- Mentoring and guiding junior Quantity Surveyors within the team
- Contributing to the overall success of the project, adhering to deadlines and meeting client expectations
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record of success on large-scale civil engineering projects
- Excellent knowledge of cost management principles and practices
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate teams
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
