Our client is an exciting, fast paced & growing contractor in Warwickshire looking for an experienced construction Project Manager, with a proven track record in overseeing refurbishments, commercial fitouts and new builds from contract award through to handover.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrable site experience in managing D&B and or Traditional Fit Out, refurbishment, new build, andCut &Carve projects with values from 25,000 to 2m.
- supervising and overseeing the direction of the projects, ensuring that the clients specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
- liaising with the clients, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
- co-ordinating and supervising construction teams
- making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
- checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
- maintaining quality control procedures
- assessing and minimising risk
- helping to negotiating contracts and securing permits and licences.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee completion of multiple projects
- Develop plans of action including schedule, resources and work plans
- Assess risks and establish contingency plans
- Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Site / Projectmanagement or relevant fields
- SMSTS, First Aid & relevant CSCS Card
- Demonstrated ability to deliver completed projects
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience working with a wider team
