Our client is an exciting, fast paced & growing contractor in Warwickshire looking for an experienced construction Project Manager, with a proven track record in overseeing refurbishments, commercial fitouts and new builds from contract award through to handover.

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable site experience in managing D&B and or Traditional Fit Out, refurbishment, new build, andCut &Carve projects with values from 25,000 to 2m.

  • supervising and overseeing the direction of the projects, ensuring that the clients specifications and requirements are met, reviewing progress and liaising with quantity surveyors to monitor costs
  • liaising with the clients, other construction professionals and, sometimes, members of the public
  • co-ordinating and supervising construction teams
  • making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
  • checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
  • maintaining quality control procedures
  • assessing and minimising risk
  • helping to negotiating contracts and securing permits and licences.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee completion of multiple projects
  • Develop plans of action including schedule, resources and work plans
  • Assess risks and establish contingency plans
  • Manage work and inputs from variety of stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Site / Projectmanagement or relevant fields
  • SMSTS, First Aid & relevant CSCS Card
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver completed projects
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Experience working with a wider team
