A global leader in the special purpose machinery sector is seeking a Permanent Control Systems Engineer.
Candidates should have experience in designing electrical control systems and PLC and HMI software, particularly with Siemens or Allen Bradley.
The role involves translating client specifications into engineering designs, producing detailed drawings, and leading testing and commissioning processes.
Applicants must have a degree or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics, along with 18th Edition qualification and relevant PLC programming experience.
The position offers a salary of £40,000 to £50,000 and requires previous experience in a similar role.

Control Systems Engineer
Job Description:

Taking client specifications and translating into systematic engineering design specifications and development system solutions
Designing electrical control systems mostly amend existing designs. Producing details drawings in line with specifications
Amending and designing control systems PLC & HMI software, mostly working with Siemens and Allen Bradley
Producing testing plans. Also leading the pre-commissioning, commissioning, testing (FAT/SAT) and site installation. Managing contractors/subcontractors for projects
Technically supporting abroad sites with maintenance issues, troubleshooting remotely before requiring to attend site.

Control Systems Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Experience in Electrical Design for control systems
PLC Programming experience (Allen Bradley or Siemens)
18th Edition qualified
Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics
