ACCOUNT MANAGER - Hybrid Role

We are looking for a dedicated Account Management Specialist to join our team, focusing on building strong relationships with Retailers and Publishers. In this role, you will play a key part in fostering loyalty through proactive account management and effective communication across internal departments. You will contribute to projects aimed at enhancing service delivery and process improvements while collaborating with the wider team to achieve company objectives. Additionally, you will identify opportunities to drive revenue growth from both existing and prospective customers within Menzies Group Companies. The Details:

  • Shift Pattern / Days: Monday - Friday / 09:00am - 17:30pm
  • Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 dependant on experience
  • Location: Hybrid Role 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver reports on time, collaborating with Customer Support for effective communication.
  • Implement value-added activities across accounts and share successes.
  • Prioritize and action internal/external information requests by deadlines.
  • Review and update Best Practice guidelines and training materials regularly.
  • Contribute to policy development to commercialize ideas.
  • Identify process blockages and suggest solutions.
  • Data analysis and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to retailers.

Customer Focus:

  • Promote cross-selling of Menzies services to publishing customers.
  • Maintain activity levels to meet targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Develop joint business plans with Menzies/FORE and publishers.
  • Ensure courteous, professional interactions with customers.
  • Organize and attend meetings, providing minutes and tracking actions.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support various business areas as needed, beyond publisher and retailer interactions.

Finance Management:

  • Set funding targets with retailers and identify income opportunities.
  • Coordinate invoicing with Customer Support and ensure timely payments.
  • Manage travel expenses in accordance with company policy.
  • Follow up on overdue invoices for recovery.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point, Business Objects and SAP
  • Knowledge of Newstrade industry
  • Experience in Account/Buyer Management role.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Office 365, Power BI, Teams
  • Previous data analysis roles
