About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to oversee a group of supported living services in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of support staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supported living servicesLead and manage a team of support staff, providing guidance, support, and supervisionEnsure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislationDevelop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and external stakeholdersMonitor and review service delivery to ensure it meets the needs and preferences of service usersDevelop and maintain care plans and risk assessments for service usersManage and monitor budgets and resources effectivelyConduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of careParticipate in recruitment, training, and development of staffHandle any complaints or incidents in a timely and effective mannerEnsure all staff adhere to company policies and proceduresRequirements:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the social care sectorNVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualificationKnowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulationsExperience in managing services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needsStrong leadership and people management skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage budgets and resources effectivelyGood IT skills and knowledge of care management systemsPassionate about delivering high-quality care and support servicesBenefits:
