About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Service Manager to oversee a group of supported living services in Coventry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of support staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support services to our service users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the supported living services
  • Lead and manage a team of support staff, providing guidance, support, and supervision
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with service users, their families, and external stakeholders
  • Monitor and review service delivery to ensure it meets the needs and preferences of service users
  • Develop and maintain care plans and risk assessments for service users
  • Manage and monitor budgets and resources effectively
  • Conduct regular audits and quality assurance checks to maintain high standards of care
  • Participate in recruitment, training, and development of staff
  • Handle any complaints or incidents in a timely and effective manner
  • Ensure all staff adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the social care sector
  • NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge and understanding of relevant legislation and regulations
  • Experience in managing services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources effectively
  • Good IT skills and knowledge of care management systems
