- Manage complex caseloads allocated by the Team Manager, including intensive interventions for children in need, child protection, and looked-after children.
- Implement, monitor, and review plans within multi-agency meetings, addressing the assessed complex needs of children, young people, and their families.
- Work effectively with families, carers, and significant others to achieve positive outcomes for children and young people.
- Liaise with other professionals and agencies to ensure improved outcomes for children and their families.
- Compile reports for conferences, court proceedings, and statutory/internal panels in line with procedures.
- Support Missing functions and responsibilities, including conducting return home interviews.
- Qualified Social Worker and registered with SWE
- In-depth knowledge of relevant children's legislation and social care provision.
- Understanding of statutory guidelines, assessment and intervention models, and good practice in children’s services.
- Skills in using solution-focused approaches and engaging effectively with children, families, and professionals.
