SEN Teaching Assistant | Coventry, CV5 | £85 - £100 per day | ASAP Start

LTF Recruitment are searching for a caring and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming partner Primary School in Coventry. The role would be supporting a child in Key Stage 2 with SEN, on a 1:1 basis for the whole academic year. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience supporting children requiring extra support in the classroom, to positively influence their educational journey. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Assisting students with special educational needs (SEN) through tailored small group sessions or one-on-one support as necessary.
  • Collaborating closely with the team to develop and apply strategies that foster inclusivity and address the varied needs of students with different abilities and learning preferences.
  • Promoting active participation and engagement in the educational process.
  • Enhancing overall wellbeing by implementing targeted interventions that support learning and personal development.

What we are looking for:

  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree, or a minimum of one year's experience in a primary school setting.
  • Experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • A commitment to helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
