LTF Recruitment is seeking a patient and dedicated Behaviour Mentor to join our partner primary school in the CV3 area of Coventry. This role is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about promoting positive behaviour and supporting children with SEN. As a key member of the school's support team, you'll work closely with students needing additional assistance to thrive academically and socially. This long-term position comes with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role:

  • Provide 1:1 support to pupils, maintaining clear and consistent boundaries.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies that improve behavioural outcomes.
  • Foster active engagement and participation in classroom activities.
  • Deliver targeted interventions to enhance students' learning, wellbeing, and personal growth.

What we are looking for:

  • A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or degree.
  • Experience working in a primary school setting, ideally within Key Stage 1.
  • Additional qualifications, such as TeamTeach or Positive Behaviour Management training, are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience managing challenging behaviours with a strong grasp of behaviour management techniques.
  • Experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
