Internal Sales Engineer

• Seeking a strong communicator to help respond to technical queries relating to process automation equipment.
• Specific product training will be delivered. Ideally you will come from an engineering background and have some experience working with mechanical products / components.
• Work for a global, well renowned engineering business in a position that offers variety and hybrid working.

As Internal Sales Engineer you will become a product specialist when it comes to process and automation equipment provided by the business. This is purely inbound related sales activity with no cold calling / business development duties. The primary function is to resolve any customer queries when it comes to automated machinery. There is a degree of working with CAD drawings and you will get involved with quotations.

Salary Guideline:c£35,000 to £40,000 per annum as a guide. Hybrid working opportunities.

The Internal Sales Engineerjob will involve:

• Responding to and resolving customer queries relating to process and automation equipment.
• Preparing quotations and creating schedules.
• Reading customer drawings to identify parts used on a product.
• Supporting the sales team with any technical knowledge relating to process and automation.

This Internal Sales Engineerjob will suit:

• Proven experience within a technical sales environment.
• Specific automation sector experience would be ideal, but not essential. We do need someone with some form of engineering qualification / background though.
• Strong communicator with good commercial awareness, capable of delivering excellent customer service.
