The Business

An innovative manufacturing company, involved in the design and manufacture of specialist equipment, require an experienced Stores Person to assist a small team of dedicated Engineers, Technicians and Supply Chain Professionals.

The products are deployed globally, in a variety of industries and used in a number of highly regulated sectors.

Main Duties:

• To receive and inspect goods against delivery notes for accuracy and damages
• Inspection against Technical specification and engineering drawings
• Notify relevant staff of any shortages, damage or non-conformance
• Assist when required with the physical movement of stock from the Goods-in area to the stores area and putting away stock
• Timely issue and kitting of materials to production in line with production schedules.
• The continuous audit of all stock by periodic cycle counting.
• Responsible for the storage, control and movement of raw material stock.
• Loading/unloading trucks and moving stock
• Packing of customer orders, ready for dispatch and completion all dispatch documentation etc
