We are currently recruiting an Internal Account Manager to join our client, a rapidly evolving team. As an Internal Account Manager, you will be faced with many duties such as working to support and manage customers alongside the External Business Development Manager.
Main duties (Not limited to):
- Develop new and innovative ways of selling the company's products.
- Build strong relationships to retain & increase sales
- Work very closely with the External BDM
- Pro-actively call customers daily to generate enquiries, prepare quotations and convert to orders
- To develop business from existing customers by the introduction of new and attractive products
- To make suggestions on new products to include in the range, based on customer’s requirements and feedback
- To ensure all sales opportunities are maximized
- Anticipate potential opportunities by researching the relevant markets, competitors, locating potential events and marketing opportunities.
- Report & feedback on successes
- Monitor spend/sales
- Sell current special offers
- Enter orders onto the system that are won
- Attend product training sessions to increase knowledge
Person Specification:
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Preferred product knowledge.
- Strong sales background
- Strong communication skills
- Previous Internal Account Management
