• Preparing and reviewing financial statements for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Overseeing a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards
• Preparing and reviewing corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to HMRC guidelines
• Acting as a key business advisor, providing strategic financial advice and helping clients achieve their goals
• Reviewing the work of junior accountants, offering guidance and mentorship to support their development
• Assisting with audit assignments, working closely with clients to ensure regulatory compliance
• Staying informed about changes in tax legislation and accounting standards to provide up-to-date advice

• ACA or ACCA qualified or close to qualification with relevant experience
• Strong background in accountancy practice, working with a range of clients
• Solid technical knowledge of accounting, tax compliance, and financial reporting
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills, with a proactive approach
• Ability to review work, train, and mentor junior team members
• Proficiency in accounting software, such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks
• Strong organisational skills, able to manage multiple deadlines and priorities

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
