Freelance Site Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Duration: 6 months
Our client is an experienced civil engineering contractor seeking to recruit a Site Engineer for a six-month civil engineering project in the Glasgow area.
Responsibilities:
- Site supervision and inductions.
- Conducting daily briefings with operatives and subcontractors.
- Quality assurance, control, and record-keeping.
- Ensuring safety targets and standards are consistently maintained.
What to Expect:
- Start date: March 2024 (6-month contract).
- Day rate: £280 – £300 per day (dependent on experience).
 Requirements:
- Qualification in Civil Engineering.
- Experience in setting out.
- Proven experience working on civil engineering projects, particularly deep drainage and concrete pipe installation.
- Experience in water projects (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
