Freelance Site Engineer
Location: Glasgow
Duration: 6 months

Our client is an experienced civil engineering contractor seeking to recruit a Site Engineer for a six-month civil engineering project in the Glasgow area.

Responsibilities:

  • Site supervision and inductions.
  • Conducting daily briefings with operatives and subcontractors.
  • Quality assurance, control, and record-keeping.
  • Ensuring safety targets and standards are consistently maintained.

What to Expect:

  • Start date: March 2024 (6-month contract).
  • Day rate: £280 – £300 per day (dependent on experience).

 Requirements:

  • Qualification in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience in setting out.
  • Proven experience working on civil engineering projects, particularly deep drainage and concrete pipe installation.
  • Experience in water projects (desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence.
