This is a fantastic opportunity for an accountant to work in a varied role which covers management accounting, financial accounting and reporting. On offer is a competitive salary, flexible working and a fantastic working culture. The roleThe duties for the Financial Accountant role will include:

Delivery of the month end close process, analysing transactions and preparing required accruals and prepayments journals.
Processing required journals
Month end exception analysis and investigation of departmental overhead spend.
Analysing financial information.
Liaising with external auditors, tax advisers and banks.
Preparation of annual accounts
Preparation of VAT return workings and associated reconciliations.
Reconciliation and review of balance sheet accounts.
Processing monthly payrolls and all related tasks.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.

The PersonThe requirements for the Financial Accountant role are:

Experience in a similar role
Those that are part qualified (study support available, qualified or qualified by experience will considered
Strong excel skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with multiple stakeholders
Preferably experience in the manufacturing/construction sector
