Alternatively, you may have some paraplanning experience and looking to expand both your knowledge and experience in a friendly office, where you will play a pivotable role in the ongoing success, of an owner-managed business, with excellent staff retention.As a result of internal progression, on offer is a full-time, office based, Paraplanner or Trainee Paraplanner, to work out of offices in Northumberland. The business employs circa 10 staff, who all possess superb experience in Financial Services, so there’s plenty of support available. This is a busy and fast-paced office environment, with almost 500 clients and whilst there’s a strong work focus, the culture is client-centric, yet friendly and relaxed. The team are efficient and work to high standards because they value and genuinely care about their clients. Business products include pensions, investments, mortgages and protection, with some complex and high-risk work.It is envisaged that the Trainee Paraplanner or Paraplanner, will be a career Paraplanner, looking to continue to develop their knowledge and experience in that capacity. As your experience increases, your responsibilities will too. The team are fully committed to support you in your development and if you are keen to achieve DipPFS, this will be fully funded too.Responsibilities will include (depending on experience):-
- Support the exiting Paraplanner and the administration team with a variety of processing tasks
- Prepare files for client reviews
- Use analytical skills to research products, solutions and investment strategies
- Cash Flow modelling
- Prepare suitability reports for top-up letters and withdrawals
- Follow-on emails after client meetings
- Utilise the portal ensuring documents are compliant
Qualifications:
· Industry qualifications (R0’s) are not required
Candidate Requirements:
- Must have sound knowledge surrounding Financial Services products (pensions, investments, protection)
- Must have current/recent experience either as an Administrator within an IFA Firm (minimum) or possess some paraplanning experience
- Have competent IT skills including MS Office, exposure to Voyant advantageous
- Possess a high standard of written English i.e. spelling and grammar
- Able to demonstrate superb attention to detail and deliver high-quality work, in a fast-paced environment
- Aptitude and desire to learn
- An outgoing individual, with great communication skills and a flexible attitude
- Adopts a pro-active approach and can display use of initiative
- A team player who enjoys delivering a superb service to clients
