About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Frame Assembler to build high-quality frames for our upholstered furniture, working with both standard and custom designs. This hands-on role requires attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Frame Assembly: Construct frames from hardwood components according to specifications, ensuring each frame meets quality standards.
  • Machine and Tool Operation: Safely set up and operate various machines and tools, including saws, planning machines, straight-line edgers, borers, air tools, and hand tools.
  • Workplace Maintenance: Keep the workspace organized and maintain a clean, safe environment.
  • Health and Safety: Follow health and safety procedures to protect yourself and others in the workspace.

Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in frame assembly or joinery, with knowledge of wood properties.
  • Skilled in setting up and operating conventional wood machines.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, with a keen eye for detail.
