The Role: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our team. You will be responsible for covering a small class of 5 secondary-aged students who are working to a Key Stage 2 (KS2) curriculum. This role requires someone who is adaptable, patient, and enthusiastic about making a positive impact on the lives of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
- Providing one-on-one and small group support to students.
- Assisting with the planning and preparation of learning activities.
- Monitoring and recording student progress.
- Creating a safe and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an HLTA or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for working with SEND students.
