Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the private client tax team, providing guidance and support to junior staff.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for tax-related matters.
  • Provide expert tax advice on a range of issues, including corporate tax, personal tax, and VAT.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant UK tax legislation and regulations.
  • Identify and implement tax planning opportunities to optimize client outcomes.
  • Review and prepare complex tax returns and computations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring the firm remains compliant and competitive.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a tax advisory role, with a proven track record of managing a team.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK tax legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Proactive and strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
