Senior CDP

Location - Outskirts Dorking

Contract type: Permanent

Salary range: £25,584 - £32,654 per annum Hours per week: 36

Mon - Thurs 12am - 7.30pm, 7.30am-2.30pm

Friday - 9am-4pm

You’ll be responsible

- Vast knowledge of all allergens and dietary requirements.

- Supervising up to 6 other kitchen staff team members during meal service.

- Prioritise good time keeping.

- Managing staff and requesting agency cover for staff illness.

- Preparing and cooking a large number of meals from fresh and raw ingredients without supervision.

- Ensuring religious, moral, and medical diets are correctly catered for.

- Supervising portion control to ensure visitors have sufficient food to eat whilst ensuring minimum waste.

- Undertake risk assessments and ensure kitchen is kept clean and tidy.

- Maintaining records of fridge and freezer temperatures.

- Proper maintenance of equipment.

- Liaising with maintenance and educational staff and visiting group leaders.

The person

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong work ethic that can carry the team through busy services of 200+ covers.

- Ability to cater to specific diets and allergens.

- NVQ level 2 or equivalent.

- Intermediate food hygiene and handling certification.

Enhanced DBS check required - Completed by client

Own Transport Essential.
