This role offers the opportunity to work closely with students aged 4-19 in small class settings, where you can truly tailor your teaching to meet their individual needs and help them thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and Deliver Lessons: Create and implement lesson plans that cater to the educational requirements of students with special educational needs.
• Adapt Teaching Methods: Modify teaching approaches and materials to suit the diverse needs and interests of students.
• Maintain Classroom Environment: Establish and enforce rules for behaviour and procedures to ensure a conducive learning environment for all students.
• Assess and Track Progress: Evaluate students' performance and monitor their progress to ensure they achieve their developmental goals.
• Collaborate: Work closely with other teachers, parents, and stakeholders to enhance student learning.
• Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training sessions and stay updated with the latest teaching strategies and regulations in special education.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Or equivalent certification.
• Experience: Proven experience in special education, particularly with students aged 4-19.
• Understanding of SEN Challenges: Deep knowledge of the challenges faced by SEN students and effective strategies to address them.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Supportive Environment: Ability to create and maintain a compassionate and supportive classroom atmosphere.
