Overview:
The Contracts Manager will oversee the delivery of an annual investment plan across a diverse property portfolio, focusing on Major Works, Structural Repairs, and Compliance with Decent Homes Standards. The role involves managing contracts, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering high-quality outcomes within budget and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of planned investment works, ensuring projects meet time, cost, and quality expectations.
- Act as Principal Designer under CDM regulations, ensuring health and safety compliance.
- Manage budgets and contracts via asset management systems, ensuring data accuracy.
- Supervise a team, providing leadership, mentoring, and performance monitoring.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, ensuring customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
Skills & Experience:
- Strong knowledge of construction, building regulations, and contract management.
- Experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and budgets.
- Proficiency in asset management systems and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications:
- Relevant construction-related qualification (OND, HND, or degree).
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIOB, or RIBA preferred).
- NEBOSH Construction Health & Safety and BOHS P405 in asbestos management.
