Description

Management and delivery of month end close
Preparation of month end reporting packs including commentary on variances
Delivery of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Inter-company reconciliations
Supporting annual and interim audit
Implementing weekly/monthly processes and implementing rigorous controls
Supporting internal audit
Posting payroll information to the finance system and reconciling
Monthly and quarterly VAT submissions
Monitoring and correcting general ledger coding
Investigating and resolving operating system to accounting system interface failures
Maintaining leases and fixed asset schedules
Supporting the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts

Profile

Experience as a Financial Accountant / Management Accountant
Sound knowledge of accountancy techniques and practises.
Self-motivated, disciplined, with a flexible approach to working practices.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organisation.
Proven time management skills, high degree of initiative and self-sufficiency with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
May be studying towards and Accountancy qualification.
