Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks using Xero
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements and financial transactions
- Process accounts payable
- Prepare financial reports and summaries
- Accruals and prepayments
- Assist with VAT return preparation
- Process vehicle disposals and depreciation
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Set up bank payments for approval
- Back dated transaction reports from March
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- AAT Qualified
- Proficiency in Xero accounting software
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using Nat West Bank line software would be advantageous
