We are looking for a dynamic Referral Centre Manager to oversee a team of 20, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional service delivery for both NHS and private referrals. As the leader of a key team, you will optimise daily operations, drive efficiency, and ensure maximum occupancy across our healthcare estate.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Managing referral bookings across multiple locations using advanced tech and telephony platforms.
  • Maximising daily scans while reducing DNAs and unanswered calls.
  • Leading, motivating, and developing your team to deliver outstanding results.
  • Evolving processes, systems, and workflows to meet operational and NHS Trust requirements.
  • Monitoring and improving KPIs to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Analysing data and trends to implement strategies that enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience managing a high-performing contact or sales centre.
  • A commercial mindset with experience in setting, monitoring, and achieving KPIs.
  • Knowledge of medical environments (an advantage).
  • Demonstrable leadership skills with a track record of motivating large teams.
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement.
  • Experience using technology platforms to drive efficiency in customer or patient bookings.
