Who We Are Looking For:
Due to growth of this exciting company, we are seeking a talented Regional Sales Manager to join our team, covering the North of England and Scotland. The ideal candidate will be based in a Northern location and will have experience in sales within the education sector from schools through to university. Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Role overview
- Establishing new, and maintaining existing, relationships with customers
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements
- Persuading customers that a product or service will best satisfy their needs
- Offering after-sales support services including technical support
- Meeting regular sales targets
- Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product/service will meet customer needs
- Technical knowledge of the equipment to be able to provide solutions
- The ability to build relationships with clients quickly
- You will have excellent customer facing skills and be happy in a role that will require regular travel and overnight stays
Requirement: (Functional/Technical Skills & Knowledge)
- An academic education and experience in the field of natural sciences, engineering in the education field
- Market knowledge in the area of ??school authorities, schools, colleges and universities
- Preparing quotations
- Administering customer accounts
- Recording and maintaining contact data
- Management of KPI’s for monthly meetings
- You should be willing to travel regularly spending on average 2 nights per week away from home
- Sound technical knowledge
- You must be adaptable due to the reactive nature of the business.
- Based in Northern England
- A full UK driving licence
- Good IT user knowledge
- Knowledge of Salesforce Preferable
- Exceptional time and territory management skills

- Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year plus commissions
