Job Title: Electrical Qualifying Supervisor 

Location: West Sussex

Salary: £44,000 - £49,000 (Basic Salary)

Overview

Are you an experienced electrician ready to step into a leadership role? Or perhaps you’re already a supervisor seeking a new opportunity? We’re looking for a Electrical Supervisor to join our Social Housing Maintenance team. In this role, you’ll oversee a team of electricians, ensuring that all planned, responsive, and void electrical work is carried out to a high standard while meeting compliance requirements.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Overseeing work scheduling to ensure a smooth and efficient service that meets company standards and contractual agreements.
• Acting as a key point of contact in client and resident performance meetings.
• Managing the delivery of responsive repairs, ensuring targets are consistently achieved.
• Controlling material costs efficiently while making sure proper processes are followed.
• Conducting quality checks through inspections, performance analysis, and customer feedback reviews.
• Leading, mentoring, and developing your team to ensure optimal performance and service delivery.

What We’re Looking For

We need a motivated and qualified professional who can confidently step into this role.

You could be:

• A certified electrician within the social housing maintenance ready to progress into supervision.
• A current supervisor with experience in social housing maintenance.

Required qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3
• AM2
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 (Inspection & Testing)

Experience required:

• Background in responsive maintenance, planned works, or void maintenance within social housing.
• Strong ability to solve problems, multitask, and work effectively under pressure.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
