My client is a major international engineering consultancy that is working on a high-profile infrastructure project and are looking to hire a Risk Manager to join them, working directly with the client's team.

Requirements:

  • Circa 5 years relevant work experience
  • Demonstrable experience conducting risk reviews, risk assessments, risk workshops and maintaining a project risk register.
  • Experience on major infrastructure projects such as rail, aviation, etc or via consultancies on major projects.
  • A combination of main contractor/consultancy experience ideal.
  • Able to undertake QRA to quantitatively model and report on ongoing project risk exposure.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading lessons learned & focussed risk workshops with project teams and stakeholders when projects are completed.
  • Maintain project risk register.
  • Work closely with the commercial management team, identifying and reporting risks and help mitigate them.
  • Knowledge of using statistical methods and tools to calculate cost and time risk distributions on construction projects.

This will be a 3 stage interview process, including 2 Teams chats and 1 face to face.
