Our client, a Top 10 leading accountancy firm, is seeking an experienced and motivated Audit Manager to join their team in Gatwick. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified ACA/ACCA professional to manage a diverse client portfolio, provide high-quality audit services, and play a key leadership role within the firm.

The Role

As an Audit Manager, you will oversee and deliver exceptional audit services, ensuring compliance and best practices are met. You will act as a key point of contact for clients across various industries, offering expert insights and solutions. Working closely with senior leadership, you will develop team members, drive efficiency, and contribute to business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and deliver audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring deadlines and regulatory requirements are met.

  • Identify and resolve key audit matters, consulting with clients and senior team members as necessary.

  • Oversee and mentor audit staff, providing training and professional development opportunities.

  • Attend and present at client audit committee and board meetings.

  • Participate in business development activities, including scoping and pitching for new work.

  • Represent the firm at networking events and industry functions.

What We're Looking For
  • ACA/ACCA qualified with strong post-qualification experience.

  • Previous experience in an audit role within a professional services firm, ideally at Manager level.

  • Proven ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality audit services.

  • Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

  • Commercial awareness and a track record of identifying business opportunities.
