Freight Forwarder (office based Mon-Fri) LGW 

You will have previous UK freight forwarding experience working within Import and/or Export with proven experience of Operations and Customer Care.

Knowledge of some UK Customs beneficial. HAWB’s. Home Use / T1’s / NCTS, and associated freight rate calculations, profiles and rates.

Duties...

• Complete the custom procedures with total accuracy ensuring that deadlines are met both internally and those defined by customs.

• Ensure documentation is Up-To-Date

• Liaise with the UK importer/Shipper all the way through to the delivery.

• Sharing knowledge within the team and continually improving processes.

• Liaise with overseas partners to arrange collections and deliveries.

• Accurately complete all types of customs paperwork Import & Export, shipping documents within the agreed deadlines.

• Responsible for financials for each job including costings and invoices and manage daily, liaising with internal departments..

• Adhere to Aviation Security and the company’s security procedures (A thorough 5 year UK reference check will be required)

• Cross training to support other team members.

• Work with the team to continually improve processes and business performance.
