Are you an operations, sales support coordinator looking to work in a dynamic, high-pressure, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in capturing orders from various departments, understand the supply chain process, manage supplier delivery lead-times and react to ever-changing supply and demand. Attention to detail is crucial for compliance with the Operations process, and any deviations must be recorded and investigated for improvements.
Day to Day of the Role:
- Process inbound orders from the Sales and Project Teams efficiently.
- Manage customer order reports and assist with logistical requirements as needed.
- Maintain the Backorder Report and ensure operations processes are compliant and aligned with the rest of the business.
- Request and analyse Supplier Shipment and Order Reports to optimise supply chain management.
- Support international shipments, including the setup of IOR agents, determining the best customs routes, and managing the clearance process.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operations, sales support or similar role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to process compliance.
- Knowledge of international shipping, customs clearance, and IOR processes is beneficial but not essential
- Ability to understand financial implications of purchasing and manage supplier relationships effectively.
