The Ideal Candidate:
Essential:
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent)
- Further education engineering/IT qualifications
- Microsoft associate or other qualifications
- Experience of working in a similar role
- Experience in the IT Services sector
- Experience of working in an IT service desk team
- Knowledge of relevant industry
- Knowledge of technical support process
- Ability to use MS Word, Excel and Publisher
- Full driving licence (Manual)
Desirable:
- Degree Level
- Cyber security qualification
- Experience in Cyber Security
- Knowledge of Managed Print Solutions
- Experience using supplier portals and CRM systems
What The Role Looks Like:
- Provide predominantly 2nd and 3rd line technical support to IT and Unified Communications clients.
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and regular system updates.
- Troubleshoot and support managed IT hardware and software solutions.
- Provision and support Microsoft/Office 365 and core network infrastructure.
- Engage in technical presales client interactions and vendor liaison.
- Attend relevant technical training to keep knowledge updated.
- Visit client sites as needed for pre-sales or support.
- Undertake additional duties as directed by management.
