£24,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive IT Helpdesk Analyst to join their dynamic IT Services team in Edenbridge, Kent. What You'll Be Doing:

As an IT Helpdesk Analyst, you'll be providing first-line technical support to our clients customers via phone and remote assistance,. You'll troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, log and manage tickets in the CRM system, and help maintain and improve customer relationships. Over time, you may even have the opportunity to attend client sites for installations and on-site support, making this a great role for those looking to expand their skills and grow within the IT industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line technical support to customers via phone and email, troubleshooting and resolving queries.
  • Maintain and update tickets in the CRM system, ensuring deadlines and SLA requirements are met.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service with clear, professional communication to non-technical users.
  • Identify recurring issues, suggest improvements, and escalate where necessary.
  • Assist with quotations and solutions tailored to customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with vendors for fault resolution and work with team members on complex issues.
  • Support continuous professional development by keeping up to date with industry trends and technology.

What Were Looking For:

The ideal candidate is passionate about IT and customer service, with a natural ability to communicate confidently and professionally. Previous experience in an IT helpdesk role is a plus, but we welcome applications from those eager to start their career in IT and who have a basic understanding of technical troubleshooting.

Essential Requirements:

  • GCSEs at grade A C in English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent).
  • Full driving license and access to a car (the office is in a remote location not accessible by public transport).
  • Must live within a 3040-minute commutable distance from Edenbridge.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in an IT helpdesk role.
  • Understanding of TCP/IP, OSI model, network topologies, and Microsoft Server products.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting firewalls, virus protection, and backup technologies.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, SQL, Office 365, and Active Directory.
  • A desire to develop technical skills and continuously learn.
