Integration Solution Architect - Contract

  • Outside IR35
  • 1 day per week in Winchester

Overview

The key responsibility of this role is to oversee integration of new network types, which have been acquired from a third party. Additionally, you will be responsible for liaising with multiple areas e.g. DevOps and ultimately you will be ensuring the product is fit for purpose.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and adoption of best practice engineering design standards and procedures, and apply quality assurance processes to ensure that end-to-end technical designs and builds meet technical requirements and standards
  • Provide support to the development of commercial proposals relating to complex technical and commercial requirements, and analyse and solve unique, complex and high impact problems
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to define requirements and design solutions to meet agreed specifications
  • Provide detailed documented technical solutions and reports for distribution both internally and externally
  • Define the future state architecture and approach to technical issues and contribute to the development of strategy and future developments, and Identify and control technical risks and issues
  • Plan technical and architecture development and modifications and recommend process, product or service improvements
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the bid management process internal stakeholders and customers, and technical leadership within the team, sharing knowledge and skills and providing mentoring support to engineers and technicians
  • Define the solution and designs to support customer on onboarding to our Enterprise Data Platform considering customer journey mapping.
  • Define the backlog to prioritise backlog items in line with roadmaps and business goals
  • Oversight of end to end design, implement and operate delivery as technical lead and escalation point

Experience

  • Significant experience using own knowledge of internal capabilities to meet customer needs while identifying opportunities for innovation.
  • Expertise in BSS systems and specifically cloud based data fabric, integration methods and analytics.
  • Proven experience in working within an agile methodology to deliver BSS solutions to the business.
  • Knowledge of data insight and management platforms Track record of creating concise proposals on complex matters for technical and non-technical audiences
