Your role:As a Senior IT Support Engineer, you’ll provide Tier 2 IT support across multiple academies, solving higher-level IT issues while working closely with the IT Manager. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Installing and configuring hardware, operating systems, and applications
  • Monitoring and maintaining networks and computer systems
  • Troubleshooting system and network problems (hardware/software)
  • Supporting new application rollouts
  • Setting up new users, managing passwords, and resolving account issues
  • Responding to IT incidents within agreed timeframes

What our client is looking for:

  • Proven 2nd Line IT Support experience
  • Strong Active Directory skills - adding/removing users, password resets, Group Policy Management
  • Experience with Wi-Fi networks (Aruba preferred) and Switches/Infrastructure (DHCP, DNS, VLANs)
  • Working knowledge of Servers - Antivirus, Backups, SCCM or WDS
  • Networking experience

Bonus skills (nice to have):

  • Experience managing VLAN Ports and projects using core IT technologies
  • Google workspace experience
  • Previous IT support experience within education

A Full UK Driving License is required.
