We are working with our client, a well-established and friendly professional services firm, to find a highly organised Office Assistant to join their dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior candidate looking to build on their administrative experience in a supportive and engaging environment.

About the role: You will provide accurate and efficient administrative to ensure the smooth running of the office. This role is perfect for someone who is versatile, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a team-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicating with clients professionally via phone, email, and in person.
  • Assisting with new client administration.
  • Processing client closures and updating internal databases.
  • Maintaining and cleansing the central database.
  • Liaising with HMRC regarding client status updates.
  • Assisting in the preparation of various letters and reports.
  • Supporting the Office Manager with office operations, including health & safety, facility management, and supplier coordination.
  • Providing backup for reception, including answering calls and welcoming visitors.
  • Organising office events, seminars, and team functions.
  • General administrative duties such as filing, scanning, printing, and document preparation.

What we're looking for:

  • A super-organised, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work.
  • A team player with a "can do" attitude, happy to take on a variety of tasks.
  • Strong communication skills and confidence in speaking with clients in person and over the phone.
  • Adaptable, proactive, and willing to learn.
  • Approximately 1 years experience in an office or administrative role is preferred but more junior applicants will be considered.
