Morgan Mckinley is seeking a reliable and self-motivated Stock Control/Delivery Driver for our client based in Crawley on a Part Time Basis.

Job Title: Stock Control/Delivery Driver

Location: Crawley Based , with routes to Luton, Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth

Hours: Part-Time, 25 hours per week

Salary: £19,500 per year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver stock promptly to Crawley, Luton, Isle of Wight, and Portsmouth.
  • Accurately record stock movements and maintain inventory logs.
  • Conduct stock checks, report discrepancies, and ensure accurate counts.
  • Load and unload goods safely, using proper manual handling techniques.
  • Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure it is roadworthy.
  • Build positive relationships with clients during deliveries.
  • Address customer queries and resolve minor issues on-site.
  • Use tablets/smartphones to input stock data into company apps.
  • Log delivery confirmations and inventory updates in real time.
  • Leverage technology for route planning, tracking, and communication.

Requirements:

  • Hold a valid UK driving license with a clean record.
  • Willing to undergo a DBS check or already possess one.
  • Previous experience in stock control or delivery roles is beneficial but not essential.
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Physically able to lift and carry stock.
  • Confident and comfortable driving long distances.
