Lloyd Recruitment Services are partnering with a successful company in search of an experienced and proactive Logistics Administrator to join their dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role in customer order management, delivery coordination and inventory control.

The Role

Working within the purchasing team, the Logistics Administrator will be responsible for maintaining accurate purchase order and warranty records, acting as a key point of contact between suppliers and customers, ensuring timely delivery updates, and following up with suppliers for crucial information. This includes verifying order confirmations and providing administrative support to both the purchasing and sales departments.

Logistics Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating and scheduling customer deliveries
  • Requesting and confirming order acknowledgements from suppliers/manufacturers
  • Following up on orders with suppliers/manufacturers
  • Managing order changes and updates
  • Processing and advancing warranty claims with suppliers/manufacturers on behalf of customers
  • Serving as the primary contact for warranties, customer enquiries, and order updates
  • Informing customers about incoming stock or potential delays through email or phone
  • Processing customer payments
  • Handling a variety of administrative tasks

Logistics Administrator Essential Skills:

  • Strong attention to detail
