Reed Accountancy are seeking an experienced Payroll Assistant to join our well recognised client in the Crawley area. Reporting to the Payroll Manager this role will be responsible for assisting with the processing of payroll for over 4000 staff.
As Payroll Assistant duties will include:
- Maintaining and updating staff data
- Assisting in the running of monthly payrolls
- Updating sickness and holiday records
- Processing starters and leavers
- Calculating adjustments and pro rata calculations
- Liaising with people team, staff and local offices
- Dealing with queries
Key Skills
- In-house payroll experience including manual calculations
- Methodical, organised, and accurate
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office software
- Good communication skills, both verbal & written
- Excellent team player
